Industrial noise control

Industrial factories in New South Wales are required by law to limit their noise emission. Scheduled premises are issued with an EPA Licence which includes noise criteria.

Industrial noise control is often complicated with many noise sources to take into account. Reducing the dominant sources can reduce the overall noise level without providing a barrier that will reduce all noise sources.

The solutions required are very specific to each factory although the principles of noise control are standard across the industry.
